Founder and Creative Director
Elísabet Asgeirsdottir is an interior architect and designer with a strong technical foundation and an international academic background. Her work reflects a measured balance between architectural discipline and spatial sensitivity. She completed her initial training in CAD drafting and design technology at Tækniskólinn – The Technical College of Reykjavík (2007–2009), followed by studies in building construction technology at Reykjavik University (2010–2011). This early focus on construction and technical systems continues to inform the studio’s methodical approach to design.
Her architectural education continued at Marbella Design Academy, where she obtained a diploma in Interior Architecture & Design (2011–2014). She later completed a Master of Arts in Hotel & Restaurant Design at Universidad Europea de Madrid, further refining her understanding of hospitality environments and spatial experience.

Elísabet Atelier is an interior architecture and design studio working across residential and hospitality projects. The practice is defined by an architectural approach to space, where structure, proportion, materiality, and light are considered as a unified whole.
Each project is developed through careful analysis and a deep respect for context. Rather than following trends, the studio focuses on creating spaces of clarity and permanence—interiors that feel composed, balanced, and quietly expressive. Refurbishments and new developments are approached with equal rigor, ensuring continuity between concept and execution.
Our work encompasses interior architecture, kitchen and bathroom design, lighting, and project management. Alongside selected high-end brands, we design bespoke elements that respond precisely to the needs of each project. From early planning to completion on site, every phase is guided with precision and discretion.
